Action Indoor Sports hosts gcp challenge cup gcp's second annual five-a-side football tournament was held at Bristol's Action Indoor Sports arena. Bolstered by last year's success, the 2007 competition attracted the construction industry's finest five-a-siders from around the region. Fiercely competitive from the first whistle, the tournament culminated in a head-to-head final between structural engineers Halcrow and quantity surveyors Ridge & Partners. With neither side willing to concede defeat and with the full-time score at 4-4, the inevitable penalty shoot out saw Halcrow finally clinch the honours and lift the trophy. |

It is the first phase of a long-term renovation of the park's facilities and the Borough has retained gcp for phase two, which includes the design of a new café, offices and a maintenance workshop. gcp's experience in this field includes Hengrove Play Park in South Bristol.
