architecture
Our architectural service includes all the core activities expected
from a professional architectural practice, from new-build to conversion
and refurbishment projects across a wide range of sectors. We have the
relevant experience and skills for supporting a project through all its
stages - from design to realisation - and, as a full-service practice,
we have worked on schemes ranging from £100k to £10m. We are also experienced
project managers for the interior design and fit-out of buildings (including
space planning) for both commercial and private use. In addition, we have
completed a number of projects for the conversion and refurbishment of
historic and listed buildings and are fully conversant with the requirements
of managing these complex projects through the design, planning and construction
stages.
project management
Our project management service means that we fully support clients through
all stages of the development process. In particular, we have developed
our understanding of the priorities that arise for schemes funded by external
or public bodies so that we can provide informed advice and particular
support to those making funding applications. Many of our building projects
involve public consultation and community involvement and we are very
experienced in managing this process. We have worked with clients in regeneration
areas in and around the South West and are well-versed in managing the
demands of multiple client organisations.
sustainable design
As a practice, we are committed to incorporating the principles
of sustainable design and energy efficiency into all our work. We continue
to invest in training and developing our professional teams to ensure
we have the most progressive knowledge and thinking on the issue of sustainable
design so that we can advise clients on practical methods of addressing
these important matters. We are qualified assessors under the Building
Research Establishment's (BRE) BREEAM EcoHomes and the Department for
Communities & Local Government (DCLG) Code for Sustainable Homes schemes.
