Harry is a student from Bristol who is studying at the Welsh School of Architecture. He is currently undertaking the fourth year of his MArch at Cardiff University, which requires completing the studies alongside working in practice. He has chosen to undertake the practical experience at gcp Chartered Architects.

Prior to working at gcp, Harry has gained experience through a combination of his Part I studies and work experience. During his time at University so far, he has established skills in developing design ideas, then presenting and communicating them in a clear manner. He’s also honed his problem solving abilitiy, and these are the skills that he has brought ready to apply to work at gcp.

At gcp, Harry has worked on a wide range of projects, including community centres, sports facilities and large scale housing developments. He has also more uniquely worked on a crematorium requiring decarbonisation. These experiences have enhanced his architectural knowledge and collaborative working ability, as well as giving him the opportunity to learn new software. This leaves him in good stead to return to Cardiff full time in September and complete this stage of his architectural education.
